[shadow=black,left,900][worry]Is it me or was that a very BBC like moment from Ahab there? [/worry] What if it was the X-F movie we were watching or there was some absolute link to X-Fness in a film we'd just watched, either content wise as there was with the Descent, or the peeps who are involved in it. I don't see any need to moderate/gude/limit conversations to that degree. It's the road to ruin I tell you![/shadow]

Aye, I hear what you're saying. At least we're visible mods and somewhat accountable unlike the BBC's drones. It was just a gentle reminder not a 'your post is gone, you're the weakest link, goodbye' etc a la BBC.
Shouldn't XF links be in the XF section though?, it worked well before on the Beeb...I think.
Relevance to this thread? Same for the post at the top of the page. Obscure XF links, reminds me of an old thread.
Awaits bollicking.

I can see what Ahab means there, it's nice to keep on topic...BUT, I think we agreed (I might have dreamed that, I'm starting to dream up conversations with people which I end up thinking are real :S) that we are pretty hands off in this section of the forum. This is an X-File forum and is what brings us all together so it's not a bad thing if Xfiles is mentioned in a non XF section, But we don't want another John Whatshisface (I still don't know who he is!) debacle now do we? So many we should think about posting a new thread before going off the topic...argh I don't know what I'm talking about...but this reminds me, I've been meaning to start a 6 degrees of X topic up for like a week now...but Wiggy has been poorly *awaits awwws* ...Jenny and Assy reminded me of the fun we had on the BBC forum with that EDIT: I've just noticed someone has been eating my Cadbury Animals and I'm not happy...so KEEP THE F**K ON TOPIC AND STOP EATING MY FOOD!

LOL okay sorry - mega big offtopiccer here by the looks of things! I just didn't realise that mentioning the Xfiles on an xfiles forum was off topic... hmm.... And the quoted paragraph - as manic as it may have been - was about a film I had just watched... WAIT! THAT'S THE THREAD TITLE!! Awwww!! Wiggy get well soon!!! Can't wait for your new thread!:-D bring it on!! Oops I think we'd better move these messages as they are not relevant to the thread!! Just kidding , JM xXx

Erm...hmmm, yar true this is an XF forum like I mentioned so yar I'll let you talk about X-Files, but we have the sections for a reason...some people don't like the free sections and want to discuss XF etc and might want to talk about something that is mentioned here...BUT yar this is off topicness is harmless in my opinion...and actually when I think about it, yar it isn't off topic, you're talking about films...and YES if you watched the X-Files movie then you can talk about it here but if it's in a lot of detail in which a discussion can be made then take it to the XF office section Now didn't I sound clever ayeeeee ;D EDIT: And thankies for the get well Jenny but I'm okies now, I just like the sympathy

I like the sound of Crash, it's got Brendan Fraser in it Watched Garden State last night, brilliantly made film, it's a bit philosophical (we have to be used to that being Xphiles ) but enjoyable, it kinda hit home with me so that's probably why I enjoyed it so much.
