[glow=red,2,300]This morning i watched Clyde Bruckman's Final Response...... *read this thought* [/glow] I was thinking about this episode today on the way home. Do you think its a good ep to show non fans or are they too many jokes that only a fan would get?

Hmm, I think Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose would be a good choice, been a while since I've seen it. Are there many in jokes in it I've forgotten. Anasazi The Blessing Way Paper Clip
Fantastic.

i think it would be a good ep to show non fans (hard to believe that this rare breed is still about!) because it works on lots of levels. not just on the levels fans would understand.

I'd agree to lure them in with a comedy episode! They're light hearted so they're going to be much easier to follow than a mythology episode, and because they're funny it'll make it enjoyable. Clyde Bruckman's a good laugh, esp as it's an earlier season so there's less spoilers... - would probably have gone with something like HTGSC myself as a first ep, but Clyde Bruckman does have a good few links to ongoing features into the xfiles, like their backlife, that would draw you in to see more than just the one ep! Good luck! Love, JM:)

[shadow=black,left,900]Last night I watched Dreamland pts 1 & 2 ;D Might be a good pair to start someone off on, how could anyone not enjoy it? Yeah think I'd go for a funny one, but swiftly after would pick a standalone gripper to really hook em.[/shadow]

yeah bad blood is one i like to show to non fans. another one i show is the unnatural...i show it to my weeker at heart kind of friends so they are not thrown in the deep end....its a nice one which i feels shows alot about the x-files but also doesnt try and scare or freak you out. its a nice gentle episode.
