Ah well!

Tori Amos gig coming up this evening ;D Lucky ASS! Jen I really wish I had booked you a ticket you know! (Pleeeeeease don't let her clash with Garbage at Glasto:()
Re Sarah McLachlan, she was amazingly fantastic, you can tell the whole band just really enjoy performing together. Gave some songs a really different spin from album versions. A cracking gig all round:)
If you've heard Mirrorball, think of that, then put yourself in a fantastic seat right there, add all the new songs & you're getting close (but no cigar!). Lucky ASS again!
She promised not to leave it 11 years till the next one (which was apparently the last time she toured the UK) I want to go again!

Aww! Well she's playing Live8! ... In America! How annoying LOL! The worst part is Will Smith's hosting it over there too!!! Poor meee!!!! LOL was wondering where you'd got to!!! hope you had a lovely lovely time! Andy she didn't sing that "What if God smoked cannabis?" song for Weird Al Yankovic did she? Cos I've loved that song for years and I suddenly got suspicious it might be her (there's downloads of her singing it online LOL!). Hope she doesn't clash with Garbage too - not after all this LOL! And the Beautiful South are supposedly straight afterward!;-D Last band I saw live... R.E.M. xXx JM:)xXx

Was supposed to go see newbie band The Cribs last night, got to club and they just decided not to go on because of a poorly throat. Wimps. I was not best pleased, still my friends and I walked through never ending chav country back to my hometown, ate chinese at my house while we watched ferris buellers day off - so not a night mis-spent even after all that.

The person I was most pleased to see was Mike Oldfield as I have been a fan for many many years (since 1973) but didn't get to see him until a few years ago at Horse Guards Parade. The best show EVER thought was Jean Micheal Jarre at Glasgow that was something else, really special. The person I have seen most is Meatloaf. I hope to see him this July this will be the 4th time if we get there! It was a close run thing last time in Newcastle as the Metro was on strike and there was a home match on. It was chaos, thankfully my mate knew all the back allyways and we were able to walk the last mile. D

I've seen Limp Bizkit and Linkin Park. Limp Bizkit was definately the better one, seeing as how I like their music a lot more. Plus at the Linkin Park one Jay Z showed up and ruined it with his rap crap.

[shadow=black,left,900]At last! I managed to hit 3 gigs in 5 days! Should have happened once before, but Garbage pulled out of their European tour Saw The Bravery on Monday - Wiggy you were right, they suck! LOL never mind, it wasn't my choice and I didn't pay for my ticket, which made me feel somewhat better about having to be endure it. Wednesday brought The Prodigy, 'nough said, they were great, though not loud enough for my liking! Should have booked tickets for them last time, cos they played a much smaller venue, now that would have been even more amazing! Friday it was Faithless. Never seen them live before, and they made the whole arena jump. Can't really assess for myself how much different the crowd were from the Prodigy as I was standing for the prodigy and seated for Faithless, but Jenny reliably informs me that the crowd were more up for Faithless. Cool ;D In any case, God is a DJ and she's quite possibly called Sister Bliss.[/shadow]

LOL Nah, I think God's more of an acoustic chick!! *grins* ;D hehe guess what, I went too!! (although not to The Bravery - saw them in the summer though and seemed much better then, shame! I sooooooo can't get Faithless' "Why Go" out of my head!!! Both gigs were incredible I thought, I love the Prodigy and how dark they come across muaha evilness! I did think the arena seemed a bit empty anyway! Why weren't you all filling up those seats!!! Good to see it completely crowded for Faithless! Why go? Cos THEY ROCK!!! Betty I tried to ring you but you hung up and then I tried again and my battery went LOL! oh well!!! hehe anyway.... best Prodigy songs were IMO Breatheeee (<3), Smack Ma Bitch Up (yaaaay), Poison, Charly, Hoards of Jerrico, oh look I'm listing them all again... wait FAITHLESS - i really enjoyed Insomnia, Miss You Less, See You More, SALVA MEAAAA and WE COME 1 best ahhhh i want to go again! Cheers ASS!!! xXx
