For me it was quite possibly the Counting Crows in the Carling Apollo in Hammersmith, February last year! If only I'd not been so stupid as to run right outside to raid the black market - I now know they usually hang out for a little meet and greet after every show - absolute stars!! When the Foos first played the MEN came close too... *grins* ;D And Rolf Harris in 2002 hehehe... and Paul McCartney/Goldfrapp in Glastonbury last year hehe... ahhh now I'm showing off! Love, JM xXx

Because I'm a Foo freak it would have to be seeing them in Newcastle in November 2002...I wish it hadn't been at an area now but it was amazing I saw a band called Zed (from New Zealand I think) last year, I wasn't too a big fan of their music but they played really well live and interacted well with the crowd...it was fun Worst gig was seeing The Calling (my sister made me!!!) they were awful...I met the singer after the gig and was close to telling him he was crap but instead gave him a sign saying I wanted his babies

[shadow=black,left,900]Oooh Loads! Best of the bunch have to be: Goldfrapp at Manchester Academy2, the 1st time I went to see them. That venue is perfect for them cos it's so small and their sound just took the roof off. They blew me away! ;D Tori Amos @ Manchester Apollo, say what you want, that woman is completely mesmerising when she's performing. Massive Attack also at the Apollo, so fantastically trippy, would have been even better if my mate hadn't taken a dive after the 1st 3 songs - I spent the rest of the gig hoping he was OK LOL (Oh Well!) I'd like to see them again and not have that problem! A Perfect Circle, both times I saw them. 1st time I knew nothing about them at all, hadn't even heard a single tune, but I was taken and told I would like it. My mate was right! Saw them again when I was more familiar took other peeps who didn't know about them, and that time was probably even better ;D Sarah McLachlan, had been into her for ages & never thought she's tour the UK, however I'm very pleased she did! ;D PJ Harvey at Glasto, Wow! Loved it, she was on fire! ;D Rammstein @ the MEN, rockets explosions & fire everywhere, manic chefs with flame throwers and massive cleavers, wonderful entertainment, I don't care that I don't know what the hell they're saying! LOL [/shadow]

I'm not a huge Muse fan - but they were bloody good at V last year. I'm looking forward to Kings of Leon again in July then Bloc Party in October who i have never seen before. yay! I've seen quite alot of bands live but most of them are so crap and teeny bopper that it's not worth mentioning. Saw quite a few good mainstream bands at V though - and the mighty Pixies.

Oh, the best band I ever saw live was 911... I am SOOOOOO ashamed! Seriously though, The Who at the Albert Hall last March was very cool, just a real shame that Daltrey had lost his voice that morning, sounded a bit rough. And that John Entwistle's dead. Pino did a good job of the bass though. Keane weren't bad at Leeds Joseph Wells last Feb, just before Somewhere Only We Know came out. Although I'm not sure I'd want to see them again, I've kinda lost interest. And the singer was a bit of a smarmy get lol Emma ;D

LMAO! Aww 911 are cool Em, I remember my friend having stickers of them allover her bed hehe (yeah wigs that friend was Amy incase you still see her and Dawn hehe you can embarrass her for me! ) I've seen Britney so you know;) And I'm proud LOL! Ahab Christy was amazing!!! Only gig at Glasto though where I wish there'd been a better audience - some of the people infront of me, waiting for the next act, were really spoiling it for all the Christy Moore fans stuck in the second row from the front! Great moment though where I leant over to tell my friend that the guy in the guiness shirt next to me was my ideal man, to turn around and have him give me a big kiss and then say "Pass it on" LOL! See why I love this festival? I will prove to you how amazing Christy was! Managed to download his best two songs and will send them on soon - no guessing what the one of them's called hehe! "Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh..." Flash are you going to V this year?? Look out for Goldfrapp - as said many times above, they're ace:D Love and screams and flags and whistles and waving arms and lighters in the dark, JM:)xXx

I have the opportunity to go to V ... if I go - will check out goldfrapp. i do like Strict machine. Haha! 911 - those short geordy blokes; the hilarity. I've seen keane - they didn't really blow me away or change my non-opinion of them, but the drummer is quite fit. I've really got something against Chops though. (The Singer). That's Keane. talk about the sun in your eyes - I should make them pay for new corneas.

Oh, I know what you mean - Richard (drummer) is pretty damn fine, and he was really nice when I met him. And yeah, Tom the singer was a bit up himself. Not that you should judge someone on a five minute conversation, but I don't think he was my type of person. What've you got against him? I'll stop boasting about hob nobbing with the stars now lol Emma ;D
