I trecked all the way to Glasgow yesterday to see Eels and Smoosh at some place called the ABC.
It was very cool, it was a full on rock show this time with all of eels sporting big beards and wearing jump suits (E was wearing goggles...even after the show) I was front row centre, right in front of the singer E. The bass player, Krazy Al, from the last tour was there but was wearing a security t-shirt and didn't actually play anything, he just made random comments, danced a lot and sprayed cream at whoever E pointed to (always girls might I add!)......he also put me in a head lock after the show! I met the guys afterwards (the bus was parked outside the entrance), E was a bit odd and kinda cold but the drummer and Krazy Al were great guys!
The highlight of the night was totally a 15 minute version of Not Ready Yet, which blew me away, but I think it might have been beaten by Smoosh, I felt like the only one who knew the lyrics to their songs, I actually had the front row clapping along at one point though...the drummer gave me a smile and waved as she left.....they're such cuties....and damn talented!! I sadly missed them after the show, I saw them run off but I didn't want run after them (I regret that now!).

Saturday Morning
I was told that they often covered a Smoosh song called the Quack, which is one of my faves, but sadly they didn't...some guys got on stage during the encore and were thrown off afterwards so I'm gathering they decided not to do it because of that.
I took loads of pics if anyone wants to see any?? No....? ...I thought not!
