Hello everybody, I have been an X-Files fan since before it began airing. I am glad to have found a site with people who share this interest. I have made a list of my all-time favourite TeleVision shows and this ranks right at the top in the # 1 slot. The most recent message board I was on, I made twice as many posts than anyone else, with over 64000, over a six-year span, and have also been offered moderator slots, some that I have accepted - I'm hoping to bring this experience to this Hangout, a rookie as I may be.

Thank you. I'm one of those that like to look back, not just forward. Nice name - it's one of my fave episodes, especially the first half. Overall, I gave it an eight out of 10.

I found my way over here as well. I turned into an X-Phile over the past year, having watched the entire series in a year and few months.

Well, it was not the normal way to do things. But then I am unique. At least I watched in proper order. Except for a few, like the last one which I watched among the first.

[shadow=black,left,900] Welcome to you too Bonnie.
Wondering if I'd have been quite as into the whole X-F thing if I'd seen them on DVD in a short space of time as you have.
I think I have to say I don’t think I would have been. Waiting for and anticipating a new ep each week was a huge part of my enjoyment, as were the season (and mid season) breaks when you had to wait and wait ...and wait some more for the Beeb to get round to putting it back on (which wasn't quite so enjoyable from s6 onwards).
Finally of course a massive pleasure was being able to get on the BBC MB (then later here) to catch up with you lot afterwards and waffle like one of Cap'n Birdeye's own.
I’m glad I had to wait those 9 years to see it through to the end. But then again I’m sure you found plenty to love about, and becasue of, seeing it fast too.[/shadow]

I don't know about ya'll but Friday Night 9 E was a quiet time to look forward to. Someone I know makes sure any X-Files episodes she watches are at nighttime.

welcome primbud and bonnie cant wait to get chatting away with you both.
i discoverd the Xfiles october '05 (so sad to know the date lol) i had always known of it, being a huge buffy/angel fan but had always written it off saying 'ok it may be the best sci-fi show ever according to polls. but its buffy all the way, man' how wrong was i?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! wish i had seen it all the way through from beginning to end (although was too young when it started really) to have all that inticipation of months waiting for it to come back. i did enjoy that with other shows. how ever not having to wait months was amazing, getting to watch them one after the other. going days without sleep, so i was sharing the same feelings of pure exhaustion with mulder and scully.
........and i got a bit carried away there.maybe.
