Absolutely. Maybe hope for a third film What was up with Gillian? She seemed ... high? They ask her 'when did you think Mulder and Scully first realised they loved each other?' Her answer 'I remember when we tried to get Tom Waits on the show and I was the one who called him. That was pretty great.' Everyone laughs and she obviously has no idea why. Oh, Gillian.

Well, in the main I like Gillian's engagement with the media and so on. Not that I follow it particularly closely, but she can be fun and sassy. Although, I think sometimes she just doesn't get the idea of conventions or that whole side of fandom. Maybe I'm wrong. Actually it's interesting because I heard an interview with WBD and he said she was sometimes aloof, but I don't think he meant it badly. Sometimes you hear how actors don't really hang out with colleagues between scenes so as not to affect their performance.
XF3 seems pretty unlikely to me. Even ignoring the obvious reasons (box office, Fox), as they said on Dean Haglund's podcast - what is there for Chris Carter to gain from it? The last one wasn't well-received, really. Mind you, I think certain section of the fan base will be displeased no matter what Carter does.
