Why do I think it'll happen? Well, being die-hard fans, we seem to forget how big TXF actually was - there has been no TV programme that has ever brought together sci-fi fans, action fans, soppy romance fans, cop-TV fans, even average TV viewers to watch one show before or since TXF. Surley knowing just how popular TXF was, and how wide its appeal could be (with the right marketing) the wheeler and dealers will bring together some sort of deal that means it can go ahead. Marketing it crucial, since the film would be a flop if it was not advertised and hyped up, and that would be a real shame. Once a date was confirmed, maybe the Beeb might even put on a few repeats - now wouldn't that be good?? :-) They should have been reading this place a few years ago

According to a recent interview in The Sunday Times, Gillian said she and Julian are talking about having children. Whilst I'd be happy for them if they did ;D it will probably end any hope of an X-Files movie at least for a few years Wow, The Sunday Times was right

Just watch xfiles 2, got it for xmas last year but moved and lost the copy, thought it was ok, but as with all these things they have left it to late, I think they need to go back to basics like star trek did and reinvent the xfiles for a new generation.
