It's Region 1 coded (US & Canada) but it'll play on any multi-region player or one that has been unlocked using a hack If your player won't play region 1 Jenny you can see if the hack is listed here www.videohelp.com/dvdhacks If not then it's out Monday on Region 2 (UK) either as Part 2 for around £25 or the complete season box for about £45 ;D You know it' still worth buying ;D

Yaay! :-D I finally ordered my Complete Season 1 LOST boxset!! :-D Can't WAIT to get it! I ended up using your promotion code as well Rich (thanks!) cos it acually knocked an extra 50p more than my student discount off! What good value!! I can't BELIEVE I paid £90 for my Season 1 Xfiles set! Can't WAIT to rewatch the eps - especially Hurleys, and the pilot which seems ages ago And the finale I guess - I really want to find some links which wouldn't have been obvious to us the first time we watched it! As I just told Betty, my friend's mam suggested they should all sail off the Island on the pirate ship LOL!! Obviously that's quite impossible, but the more I think about it, the more of a good idea it is!!! if only there was some way of getting it to the beach, in parts, or by digging a trench with water around it... Hmm got ages to ponder on this yet ....

Off topic: it's probably region 1 so it won't play on a region 2 player. However, as Rich said you can get codes off the 'net that allow you to hack your DVD player and convert it to region free, that's what we did. Let us know if you need any help.
Good thread folks.

[glow=red,2,300]I was suprised as to how easy it was to hack my DVD player - all you have to do is push a few buttons! I'd recommend it for all!! ;D [/glow]

Do any of your mates have any R1 stuff, hack your DVD and test it out before buying maybe? How do you mean built in, what is?

Like it's a TV... Toshiba I think.... with built in dvd drive... like a cd drive that opens up jsut under the monitor.... not like loads of buttons to press unless you want to fast forward, stop or play LOL!

[shadow=black,left,900]Not convinced about the numbers significance being a password type code yet, makes no sense to broadcast them that to anyone outside the hatch. Hmmm. I am with you on thinking that it's a very large structure, possibly extending out from the island itself, not sure why I think that, but I do... [/shadow] Oh no! You've given me an idea there about what the hatch actually is, or rather contains. Has anyone else read a short sci-fi story called 'The Tunnel Under the World'? I'll leave it there, cos I don't want to go down that road (or hatch!) just yet, but it would make a lot of sense on several levels (including Desmond, and why the hatch was sealed from inside and hidden outside... and I'll probably think of the relevance of the numbers too). I feel a whole new theory coming on!! Hmm... so who wants to hear my (completely spoiler-free and entirely hypothetical) theory then?

The most obvious factor that connects them all is that they were all Lost in their daily lives in some way before they ever boarded the plane. What about the woman who's wearing her husband's wedding ring on a chain round her neck (and who believes he is still alive somewhere)? Can't think of something that suggests she was 'lost' before. Of course, most of us could be said to be lost one way or another. I hope the other background characters get more of a run than Arzt did, if they get brought more to the forefront of the storyline. It's irritating when someone only makes an appearance to be conveniently killed off. I'm catching up on the Lost board, so there'll probably be a few sequential replies as I make my way through. Sorry.

Hey, I've caught up! Can't believe how few LOST theories are here though. Been developing my theory more whilst reading, and I've now got a theory on the numbers too. Hell, we're all LOST!!

...so who wants to hear my (completely spoiler-free and entirely hypothetical) theory then? [shadow=black,left,900]Oh go on then! As long as it really is spoiler free, and not in the slightest related to anything you've heard/read. You've scared me a bit with all your research and reading. & nope I've not heard of never mind read the book you mentioned. Are you watching 1st look on E4 as well Sus? (I'd guess there'd be no way of stopping you!) Anyway better leave the numbers alone now just in case. Melvis has managed to get my wires completely crossed about the gig tonight - and now I'm not going But that means I can watch the final 2 of last season and the 1st 3 of S2 instead, not a bad consolation Just watched Born to Run again, had forgotten most of the detail about Kate's meeting with her mum, and I reeeeeeeally want to know what happened, from the tape she and Tom (was that his name?) made sounds like the beginning of it started way back in 1989 - how old is Kate do we think, do we know? [/shadow]
