Finished BSG series 3, Homicide: Life on the Street series 1, The Shield series 7. Am up to speed with Mad Men, also. Homicide LOTS (lots?) yeah Series one (actually 1 and 2 really, the DVDs lie to you - season 1 was only a few episodes long as a filler season for some shows but was later picked up for full seasons). The next season is very good, season 3 starts very well ... but then everything seems to go quickly ... erm, soap operish for me. Look out for JK Simmons, Robin Williams and some other well knowns. I haven't watched much TV at all recently. I'm very into 30 Rock at the moment though, just got through the 3rd season which was still funny but not as good as the other 2 - kinda went off towards the end, but still good. I'm tempted to watch season 4 online but I think it's too soon

Yeah, that confused me - what's on wiki versus the DVDs and the sequence of eps. Mad to think s2 only had 4 eps??, but then there's a full boxset, odd. I saw Robin Williams, was rather strange to see him crop up, but he's done a fair amount of TV. I think I might put it to one side now as I've a choice of starting Supernatural or Friday Night Lights or returning to Deadwood. Wigs, you have to get into The Wire!

I tried to watch it on TV but kept falling asleep ... because of the late hour, not the show itself It looked pretty good what I saw of it - I especially like that half of the cast is English Watch Supernatural and tell me what it's like

Hehe, yeah the cast is pretty diverse. Check it if it's going cheap. Will do!

FNL - I've watched 10 episodes of this. It took me a while to get into it...possibly because of all the impossibly good looking people and so forth, but it seems pretty solid and very much character driven which I appreciate. Although, coach Taylor's wife seems to breach the confidentiality of her students/clients at every opportunity?!

Finished BSG 4.5, enjoyed it for the most part. A very good show.
Must finished FNL and then continue with Homicide LOTS or even finish Black Books.

Treme
This is from the creators of The Wire. It's set in post-Katrina New Orleans. A slow burner, but rather good.

Am 5 or 6 episodes into Homicide LOTS series 2. Seems to be pretty good, alright. Sad, at times.

Which episode did you watch? It can be very, very sad at times. Season 2 is great though ... savour it whilst you can haha.

Crosetti, came a shock. I can see why s2 is good. If I did have a complaint, I'm afraid it's John Munch - his cynicism can come across as a little excessive and too much of an act. Just a little overdone, at times. In addition to that, sometimes the more emotional aspects of the show seem rushed or forced. Still, it's head and shoulders above most police shows - it thrives on the dialogue, the characters, and of course, Baltimore.

Completely agree - except for Munch, I love Munch But yeah, it has a great feel of realism, however I do find some aspects a little forced and sadly it only gets worse after season 2 or 3. Which is a shame - but the earlier seasons are superb. Howard annoys the hell out of me though. Crosetti episode is really sad - you really feel for Lewis. On a side note ... the box ... why doesn't it look anything like that when the Lone Gunmen are in there?

Box? Interrogation room? I don't remember the LGM being in one, I must be getting old. I can't warm to Munch as much as you can, I like Gee's leadership style, though.
On to episode 9. Howard is in Treme.
